En Pointe, Off Kilter

En Pointe, Off-Kilter presents a powerful new collection of essays from Thomas Glave, seamlessly blending the geopolitical with deeply felt personal reflections on his own experiences of grief and loss. Expanding on his previous work, Glave delivers striking meditations on race, British colonialism, Jamaican queer history, and trans-Atlantic slavery, alongside urgent explorations of the Covid-19 pandemic, torture, and sexual assault. Written in highly evocative, lyrical prose, this collection offers a necessary, multi-layered journey through human rights, social justice, the African diaspora, and the role of the writer-activist.
