Lee Sears
LEE SEARS is a leadership expert, commercial and social entrepreneur, author and speaker specialising in organisational transformation and place-based change. His work brings together transformations in business, education and place-based change.
With Jerry Connor, he co-founded Bridge and Coach in a Box, which grew into one of the world’s largest coaching organisations, with 250 coaches operating in 40 countries. He specialises in helping senior leaders navigate major organisational and cultural change and achieve breakthroughs through innovation.
Alongside his work in business, Lee has founded developmental charities in Africa and the UK and spent the past fifteen years working to reshape education. He co-founded Big Education, a London-based multi-academy trust, and in 2026 established Meridian, a new school offering a more expansive education to prepare young people for an increasingly complex world.
His commitment to place-based change is reflected in his work in Bath, where he co-founded The Bath Bridge, a community interest company dedicated to the city’s renewal, and established its Future Talent Programme. He has also served as a non-executive director of Bath Rugby and designed a Creative Leadership Programme for Bath Spa University as a potential precursor to a new MBA.
Lee lives in Bath with his family. Mastering MESSY Leadership is his second book.
